METCON

Team Training Success Stories

I was overweight for many years. My major wake up call was my annual physical in November 2015. My physician told me I wouldn’t be around much longer if I continued the way I was… so I started to join Team Training classes. The amount of support I received from the others in the class was amazing. It was one of the main things that kept me going at times, the small group atmosphere really helped motivate me. The trainers also did an awesome job keeping me on track. Since beginning these classes last year, I have lost over 120 pounds. Up until last year, I had never enjoyed exercising, but now Team Training classes have become something I look forward to daily.

When she began Team Training, she was 61lbs heavier and could not walk upstairs without using a handrail for assistance. Getting up and down off the ground was an even bigger challenge due to knee pain. Since beginning Team Training classes, Anne has become quite the athlete completing her first 10K on July 4th at the Peachtree Road Race (without any knee pain)! There’s nothing this lady can’t do!
